Exploring Akita: CROWNE PLAZA HOTEL(IHG)
I'm Japanese Blogger😀
I'll show you something interesting in Japan.
Today's material is "Crowne PLAZA AKITA" in Akita, Japan.
🏩Hotel information
Nestled in the heart of Akita City, Japan, the Crowne Plaza Hotel Akita offers a blend of modern luxury and traditional Japanese hospitality.
Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, this upscale hotel promises an unforgettable stay with its refined accommodations, top-notch amenities, and exceptional service.
It is part of the IHG Group.
Location
3 minutes on foot from west exit of Akita station.
Parking Lot
The hotel does not have its own parking lot.
The hotel recommends the Akita City Public Parking Lot, a self-parking, multi-story parking garage. It is next to the Hotel.
It is open 24 hours a day, with a maximum overnight fee of 600 yen (16:00 to 10:30 the next day).
Payment is by cash only.
Akita city public parking(Japanese only)Guest Room
This time I stayed in the Premier Deluxe room.
It's a large room with an extra bed, and it can accommodate up to four people. So I think it's a good room for a family. It's not too expensive either.
🍴Hotel Dining option
■Gourmet Experiences
Crowne Plaza Hotel Akita boasts a selection of dining options that cater to various tastes. The hotel’s signature restaurant offers a refined dining experience with a menu featuring both international and Japanese cuisine. Guests can enjoy fresh, seasonal ingredients and expertly crafted dishes in a stylish setting.
■Relaxing Lounge
For a more casual dining experience, the hotel’s lounge provides a cozy atmosphere where guests can enjoy light meals, snacks, and a range of beverages. It’s the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring or to catch up with colleagues over coffee.
■Sky Grill Buffet "SORA" on 12F
For dinner, we had a buffet at the Sky Grill Buffet Restaurant "Sora" on the 12th floor.
The food was delicious, but there were no Akita specialties. My favorite is the pork next to the pizza in the photo below. It was fatty and very delicious 😋
If you want to eat Akita specialties, you'd better go outside.
For breakfast, Akita local dishes such as Kiritanpo and Inaniwa Udon are served.
■Breakfast
Breakfast is also served at Restaurant SORA on the 12th floor.
The buffet offers a variety of traditional Akita dishes such as kiritanpo, Inaniwa somen noodles, and iburigakko, as well as Japanese food, traditional Western dishes such as scrambled eggs, sausages, and ham, and fruit.
Everything was delicious.
