Location & Access
Adress: 1 Toyota-cho, Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture 471-0826, Japan
Toyota Kaikan is on the Toyota Motor Corporation head office area.
By public transportation is possible, but it is not easy to access, so I recommend going by car.
There is free parking lot next to the Toyota Kaikan museum.
Museum hour
9:30am to 5:00pm
Closed: Sundays, New Year’s holiday, Golden Week, summer vacation period and at other times

【Visiting】
Toyota Kaikan Museum is on the Toyota Moter Corporation headoffice area.
You can see Toyota techical center and head plant.

Arriving there at 1pm on Saturday, but is was not crowded.
Current generation ALPHARD is on the Entrance hall. It was recently launched.
Car Show room is right side area from entrance.
Displayed cars are below at that time.

Toyota⇨Century, Land CRUISER, NOAH, SIENTA, CORPLLA CROSS, CROWN
GAZOO⇨GR COROLLA, GR86, GR YARIS
You can touch and sit on the displayed vehicles.
However, Century was locked. It is just looking. It's just a look.

Production and Creation area

Production line video is playing. It maybe TOYOTA Virtual PLANT Tour video. It is on the TOYOTA Kaikan Museum web site.
You can see how much the weight change when using different materials to make parts with the same strength. Let's hold and compare.

Exhibits for children

There are some simple game. Target time is tight. Please try it.

They sell some mini cars.
There were spoons and forks with tools. They are cool✨
It take about 30 minutes to 2 hours to see everything.
I think this is a good facility where you can learn about Toyota.
